ProcessMiner’s CSO, Dr. Kamran Paynabar, Receives the Outstanding Achievement in Commercialization and Entrepreneurship Award from the Georgia Institute of Technology

ATLANTA, GA, May 24, 2022 — ProcessMiner Inc., an artificial intelligence platform for the manufacturing industry, announced today that its Chief Science Officer, Dr. Kamran Paynabar, is the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement in Commercialization and Entrepreneurship award from Georgia Tech.

The awards were established this spring by Raheem Beyah, Dean of the College and Southern Company Chair. “This year’s honorees are entrepreneurs, researchers studying health and human infrastructure, and faculty who are building a better culture and curriculum for our students, staff, and one another,” said Beyah. “I’m incredibly proud of this year’s winners. Our faculty are among the best in the world.”

This prestigious award is given to individuals who have successfully translated their research into marketable products or services. Dr. Paynabar is a recognized scholar in applied statistics and machine learning, and his work with ProcessMiner has helped make it the leading platform for manufacturing process analytics and improvement. 

Commenting on the award, Dr. Paynabar said, “I am honored to receive this award and be recognized for my research and work. In addition, I would like to thank Georgia Tech and all my mentors, colleagues, and collaborators who supported me throughout my career and helped me achieve this recognition.”

Dr. Paynabar is a co-founder of ProcessMiner and has been a driving force behind the company’s success. He has developed ground-breaking AI/ML algorithms used to detect patterns and insights in data for improving continuous manufacturing systems.
