PM Vector: setpoint intelligence built on your best run.

PM Vector turns your best run into a live target on screen and tracks every variable against it. When one drifts, operators see the exact setpoint to move to, not just an alert.

An alert tells you something’s wrong. Not what to do. So every shift estimates the correction from memory. PM Vector puts your best run for this grade on screen as a live target. When a variable drifts, operators see the exact setpoint to move to, on levers they control. The target retrains as you run, so your best crew’s settings become every crew’s standard.

The golden run concept

Every process has a best version of itself.

An alert tells you something’s wrong, not what to do. Your production history holds a run where quality held, chemistry use was efficient and throughput was strong. That best run is yours, not an industry benchmark. When a variable drifts from it, PM Vector calculates the adjustment to return.

Adaptive, not archival

Why adaptive beats historical

Most centerlining tools just publish the best historical run. PM Vector’s target is derived by AI from your own data, adapts by grade and keeps retraining as the process changes.

01 / Always current

Always current

A frozen centerline goes stale as equipment and feedstock change. Ours retrains with every new lab value, and targets switch by grade across 5 to 40+ grades.

02 / Operator levers

Only the levers operators control

PM Vector separates what operators control from what they can’t, so recommendations point only at levers.

03 / From guidance to correction

Carries into closed-loop, when you choose

PM Vector calculates the specific adjustment. An operator applies it or, if you choose, it’s written to the setpoint under Autonomous Optimization on the variables and hours you authorize.

Questions, answered

Frequently asked questions

What is centerlining in manufacturing?
Holding a process on its best-known operating condition, its golden run, instead of letting it drift within a wide spec range. PM Vector compares live production to your own golden run and tells operators exactly how much to adjust which control.
How is this different from a control chart or SPC alert?
An SPC alert tells you a variable crossed a static limit. PM Vector tells you the specific adjustment back to your own golden run, calculated from your real performance data.
Does the golden run change with product grade?
Yes. Golden run targets are defined per grade and switch automatically as the active grade changes, across 5 to 40+ grades.
What happens as our golden-run targets shift over time?
They move with the process. Because the target is recalculated as new lab values arrive, a target set in January isn’t still the target in July if the equipment, feedstock, or ambient conditions have changed. That is the practical difference from a centerline built from one historical best run, which stays fixed until someone revisits it.
Can operators override the guidance?
Yes. PM Vector recommends an adjustment; it acts on its own only where a site has deliberately moved that variable to closed-loop control.
