IISE QCRE Competition Call for Papers Now Open

ATLANTA, GA, September 8, 2021 — ProcessMiner Inc., an artificial intelligence platform that delivers predictive analytics and optimization for continuous manufacturing processes, announced today, it is sponsoring the 2022 QCRE Data Challenge Competition at the 2022 Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) Annual Conference, taking place May 21-24, 2022.

“We, at ProcessMiner, are at the frontier of data science innovation. Our goal is to encourage advanced research in this field to push its boundaries further. For this, we are extremely happy to release our third data challenge,” said Dr. Chitta Ranjan, Director of Science at ProcessMiner.

In this data challenge, a research problem to advance the field of deep learning is posed to participants. There is a $3,000 cash award to solve emergent data challenges. A submission should be a manuscript submitted or ready to submit to IISE proceedings, or a relevant conference/journal. It is also recommended to post the manuscript on Arxiv.

The deadline to enter is April 29, 2022. Inquiries and submissions are addressed to Dr. Chitta Ranjan (ProcessMiner Inc.) and Dr. Yisha Xiang (Texas Tech University).

  • First Prize: Plaque + $2,000
  • Second Prize: Plaque + $1,000

Participants are encouraged to work in teams. The finalist teams will be required to present their work at the 2022 IISE annual conference.
